Sang Shin's Free Online Training Courses

[via dzone.com] Sang Shin, who runs the javapassion.com site ("the site of people who have Passion for Java Technology"), has some interesting free online courses:

Some of the courses have already started, but that doesn't mean it's too late for you to join in. There is no webcast component to any of his courses, so there are no "classes" to miss. You can register anytime before the end of the course and as long as you submit all assignments before the deadline (2 weeks after the last class).

If you'd like to see what an assignment looks like, here's a sample from the Ajax course. You don't need to submit assignments to partake in the course.

Intra-class communication takes place two ways: via a mailing list and a wiki.

If you'd like to find out more about what the courses are like, here's the FAQ for the Ajax course.
